WINDY MONDAY, TURNING COLDER TUESDAY

FROM KRBC CHIEF METEOROLOGIST RANDY TURNER

THE WIND WILL CONTINUE TO BE GUSTY FROM THE SOUTH MONDAY ACROSS THE AREA WHICH HELPS PUSH A LITTLE MORE MOISTURE IN OUR DIRECTION. THE RAIN CHANCE MONDAY LOOKS TO BE SLIGHT AND BASICALLY ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM BRECKENRIDGE TO ABILENE TO COLEMAN.

THE NEXT CHANGE ISN'T TOO FAR AWAY, AS A STRONG COLD FRONT ARRIVES EARLY TUESDAY MORNING, SHIFTING WINDS TO THE NORTH AND DROPPING TEMPERATURES. ONCE THE COLD AIR IS IN PLACE, EXPECT IT TO LINGER THROUGH THURSDAY BEFORE A SLIGHT WARM-UP IS FORECAST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

THERE IS ANOTHER CHANCE FOR RAIN, ABOUT 20% WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY BUT AMOUNTS SHOULD BE LIGHT. ALSO, OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE BELOW FREEZING TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT SO ANY PRECIPITATION MAY FALL IN FROZEN VARIETY.
