Warmer Temperatures On The Way

From Chief Meteorologist Brandon Rector...

We started off cold this morning with temperatures right at or just below freezing. A quick moving upper level disturbance caused some light rain for part of the area early this morning. This did lead to some slick spots in a few locations. By this afternoon, we had warmed up into the low 50s which is a little below average for this time of year.

Well above average temperatures and windy conditions are expected Friday through Monday. Highs tomorrow look to be in the low to mid 60s and then warm into the low to mid 70s for this weekend and early next week.

A cold front should move through the region late Monday. This will lead to a slight chance of rain for us Monday afternoon. That chance increases to 20% Monday night and early Tuesday. Cooler air looks to be in place starting Tuesday with highs in the mid 50s.

Wednesday and next Thursday are expected to be cool and dry with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Have a fantastic Friday!
