More Wind for Thursday

From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ..
A vigorous low pressure area will push a cold front through the area in the early morning hours Thursday making for another blustery and dusty day in the Big Country.

As of late Wednesday night, light precipitation was showing up on radar in the Lubbock area but more than likely, the Big Country will see the moisture stay a little to our north or soon to be blown east by the system, replaced by much drier air and blowing dust behind wind gusts of 30 to 40mph Thursday.

Temperatures will be cool Thursday, highs upper 40's to low 50's across the area, but wind chills will stay in the 30's much of the day.

It still looks like a nice warm weekend is in store, but the wind will continue to be gusty from time to time.
