Fire Weather Watch in Effect

From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ...
One word describes our weather the next few days .. windy. A dangerous situation is setting up Tuesday with very gusty northwest wind, thanks to a cold front, and a low humidity which means a high wildfire danger all across the KRBC viewing area. Be prepared and please, not outside burning. In addition, the wind will likely kick up some dust Tuesday afternoon. The wind will relax a little Tuesday night before it picks up again Wednesday in advance of the next front which gets here Thursday. Precipitation isn't too likely, maybe some spotty light showers Wednesday night or Thursday, but I'm certainly not too excited about the chances. Gusty windy continues into Friday.
Temperatures, as you might expect, will be up and down thanks to the fronts. Tuesday's high will probably come during the morning as temperatures slowly fall during the afternoon. I expect freezing or just below Tuesday night and again Thursday night. On the bright side, weather for the upcoming weekend looks very pleasant.
