Monday Morning Forecast

Good Morning from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly....

We saw an overall pleasant weekend across the Big Country with plenty of Sunshine and temperatures in the upper 50's to low 60's.

It is another cold start to the week as temperatures this morning are ranging from the mid 20's to mid 30's. Through the day we will see plenty of sunshine with temperatures rising to the upper 50's to low 60's. Winds will be fairly light through the day and night.

Tonight and tomorrow cloud cover will begin to build thanks to an upper level low on the Mexico/ Arizona border. This low will trek through Mexico and push into Southern Texas. The bulk of the activity looks to stay mainly to the south and east with our southern counties receiving the most impact. Along with this low a cold front makes its way through on Wednesday. This front will bring significantly cooler temperatures with highs dropping to the 40's for Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight lows will drop into the 20's. With the cooler temperatures the precip could fall as a frozen precip or snow if all factors play out right. Again there is only a slight chance to see any activity Wednesday and Thursday.

The weekend temperatures warm back into the mid 50's and lows in the lower 30's

Have a great day!
