Thursday Evening Update

From Chief Meteorologist Brandon Rector...

It was a bit of a chilly start today with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. A cold front moved through the area this morning so it was a bit cooler today with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Unfortunately once again we didn't see any rain out of this front due to a lack of moisture.

Friday looks pleasant with highs in mid to upper 60s under partly cloudy skies. It will be a bit breezy at times with winds from the southwest at 10 to 15 mph.

Another cold front is expected to move through the Big Country Saturday morning. This will bring cooler temperatures back to the region with highs in the mid to upper 50s. It doesn't look like we have enough moisture to support signifcant rain. A sprinkle can't be completely ruled out, but the chance is less than slight. That means it is less 10%.

Sunday looks dry with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s under partly cloudy skies.

A cold front looks to move through the area on Monday so the roller coaster ride of temperatures will continue. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s under partly cloudy skies. This frontal passage should also be a dry one for us.

Tuesday is expected to be a little warmer with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Have a fantastic Friday!
