The Front Arrives

Good Morning from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly....

Its a few degrees warmer this morning as temperatures are mainly in the mid to upper 30's. Still chilly, and you still want to keep a jacket on hand as temperatures won't be getting to warm through the day.

A Cold front is just making its way into the Panhandle and this front is brining artic air to the Big Country. Rain chances look very slim with a very light shower possible. The big story will be the drastic change from above average temps to below. Highs today will hit in the early afternoon and before the front arrives, after, temperatures will begin to drop. Clouds will again make there appearance only helping it to feel cooler.

The rest of the week cold will be the main word. Lows dip into the 20's until the weekend with highs on Thursday in the upper 30's to low 40's. Friday will get just a little bit warmer. The 50's return for the weekend into early next week along with another rain chance by the beginning of the work week.

Bundle up and be ready to get the fire going, have a great day!
