Wednesday Morning Update

Good Morning from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly…

The rain was a welcomed change to the Big Country with areas receiving anywhere from a half an inch to an inch of precipitation. Temperatures yesterday also managed to stay chilly at 10 degrees below average, another change from our near record high on Sunday.

Today we will see the rain damper off in the morning hours and the clouds clear out through out the afternoon. Temperatures will reach into the lower 60’s with Sun peaking through in the afternoon. Overnight with clear skies we will be able to chill things off with lows reaching the upper 30’s.

Thursday and Friday are looking to be sunny with highs reaching upper 50’s and lows reaching around freezing. Our next front will pass through on Friday bringing with it some cooler air for the weekend. We are also seeing another system pushing into our area. Right now with a chance of precipitation from Saturday into Sunday and with the cooler temps we could see some snow if everything plays out right. We will keep you updated with the latest as it is still a few days away.

Christmas looking like a great day to get out and play with your new toys, partly cloudy with temperatures in lower 50’s.

Have a great day!
