It was a beautiful New Years Eve with plenty of sunshine! The temperatures were a little cool not even hitting 50 here in Abilene and the windy were gusty. The good thing is come sunset tonight we will calm those winds down for at least the next few days. It will be a chilly overnight with temperatures in the upper 20’s. So grab the jacket when you go out for your New Years Eve party! The first day of the New Year will warm up to just around average with plenty of sunshine once again.
Tuesday will bring in a few clouds with mid 50’s and lows in the lower 30’s. Wednesday will bring in the next Low pressure system with a chance for a shower, mainly into the overnight. Temperatures will cool with highs in the upper 40’s and lows in the upper 30’s.
Friday will be a warm one with temperatures in the upper 60’s, however with our next front pushing through that evening we will cool down the first weekend of the new year with temperatures in the mid 50’s.
