Holiday Weekend Forecast

Good Evening from Meteorologist Kristen Connolly

Winter has officially begun and we started it off with Sunny skies and temperatures just a little above seasonal. Tonight conditions should begin to feel more like the season, our Temperatures will stay in the mid 30’s with the cloud cover increasing. We will see the temperatures near 10 degrees below average tomorrow, hitting the upper 40’s. In the afternoon we will see some scattered showers with the best chance towards our Southern counties. The showers will continue into the overnight where temperatures will reach around 30 degrees. Because of the below freezing temperatures we could see a few snow flurries but not much in accumulation. It is good to note that the roads may be slippery but nothing like we saw a few weeks ago when the winter storm pushed through.

By Sunday we will begin to clear out the clouds and see Partly Cloudy for most of the Christmas week. Christmas day temperatures will be just around 50 degrees and we should warm things up to upper 50’s by mid week.

Enjoy the holidays and travel safe!
