Tuesday Morning Update

Good Morning from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly

We have dried out after a dry line pushed through yesterday. Overnight temperatures have been able to drop to upper 30’s lower 40’s with lighter winds out of the west, and clearer skies. A cold front is pushing through the area but because it is so weak it will only drop temperatures few degrees. Temperatures today should reach upper 60’s with abundant sunshine.

We will see high pressure system building in behind the front which will only keep around the warmth for the next few days. Each day looks to be a few degrees warmer with Temperatures hitting lower 70’s by Thursday. With our winds sticking out of the Southwest we will continue to bring in the drier air and winds starting to pick up more by the weekend. Overnights will be chilly, with clear skies and winds dieing down, temperatures will dip into the upper 30’s through the week and 40’s by the weekend.

Our next system is approaching by the beginning of next week. If all factors play out right it could be out next chance of precipitation, however, we will have to watch it as it is still a ways out.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!
