Warm Weather Continues Into Thursday:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* A weak frontal boundary drops into the area today but nothing major with this other than a brief wind shift to the north which will keep the temperatures around 90° this afternoon. Otherwise another nice and sunny day for the region. A few high clouds might move into the area tonight but generally clear with overnight lows in the uppper 50s/lower 60s. Mostly sunny and very hot for Thursday as temperatures reaches the upper 90s. I think some areas may see their first 100° day of 2010! A cold front arrives Thursday night and Friday morning knocking the hotter temperatures out of here and cooling us back down into the 70s and cooling overnight lows back into the low 50s.

* The Weekend: Partly cloudy on Saturday with highs in the middle 70s and still a few clouds in the area Saturday night with lows in the upper 50s. Things start to warm back up on Sunday for Mother's Day as highs climb back into the 80s. There is a slight chance for a thunderstorm or two as well on Sunday as a system works across the region.

* Next Week: So far things are looking dry with temperatures warming back up into the lower 90s by Monday and Tuesday with lows into the 60s. Expect partly cloudy conditions each day for the first part of next week.

* Drought Information: West Central Texas remains above normal on rainfall this year so no drought issues here locally at the present time.
