Scattered Storms in the Tuesday Outlook

From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ...

Humidity, and plenty of it, stays with us through the work week. With all this moisture around, you would think that rain would be more prevalent. However, with the lack of a cold front or upper level disturbance, only isolated areas received rain on Monday.

The dry line is pushed all the way west to the Texas/New Mexico border. It makes a little progress east Tuesday and will likely fire off a couple storms as it did Monday.

The same goes for Wednesday as upper level lows lift out of the Four Corners of the southwest U.S. over the Rockies to the northern states. They should help kick off some West Texas storms again.

The atmosphere undergoes some drying late week into the upcoming weekend, leading to less cloud cover, warmer temperatures and a nice Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Overnight lows in the upper 60's, afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80's through mid-week.
By the end of the week, low 90's each afternoon through the weekend.
