Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

*** There is a 'Slight Risk' for severe thunderstorms this evening and tonight across the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley as a cold front advances into the area. The main threat is large hail but damaging winds or an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. ***

* Rather warm start to the day with temperatures across the area this morning into the 70s. We're also seeing a decent amount of cloud cover this morning. As we progress into the day, we'll see a mixture of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 80s and the lower 90s. The forecast looks dry for the day but the dryline will advance into the area this afternoon and we'll watch for an isolated storm along the dryline in the late afternoon or evening. Increasing thunderstorm chances for tonight as a cold front works into the area. The SPC maintains a 'Slight Risk' for a severe thunderstorms tonight with large hail the main issue. Lows tonight drop into the lower 60s.

* The rest of the week and the weekend will feature mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with scattered showers and thunderstorms each day as we settle into a stormy pattern across the region. We can't rule out a severe storm or to during this period. The clouds and rain will keep temperatures down into the 70s for highs and overnight lows into the 50s.

* Next Week: We start to dry out and warm up as daytime highs climb back into the middle 80s and overngiht lows warm into the lower 60s. Expect a partly cloudy sky each day for the first part of next week.
