Cooler Weather Today, Rain Late Weekend:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Warm morning out there with temperatures into the 60s and 70s but a cold front will sweep across the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley later this morning turning our wind to the north and bringing us cooler temperatures for today. Compared to yesterday highs today will only be in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Mostly clear and much cooler for tonight with lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

* The Weekend: Partly cloudy on Saturday and cool with highs in the upper 70s. Clouds will continue to into Saturday night with lows around 50. Warmer on Sunday for Mother's Day as highs climb back into the middle 70s under a mostly cloudy sky. There is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms as well.

* Next Week: Partly cloudy with an isolated storm possible on Monday with highs into the lower 90s. We remain in the lower 90s for Tuesday and partly cloudy. Temperatures drop back into the middle 80s by Wednesday and into the 70s on Thursday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms into the middle of next week. Overnight lows will hold into the 60s each day.
