A Storm Chance This Weekend:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* The cold front continues to move across the region this morning. A band of showers and thunderstorms have developed along the front north of Interstate 20 and will move eastward. The storms should end early this morning as the front moves out of the area later this morning. Otherwise our forecast today will be partly cloudy and still breezy at times with highs in the lower to middle 80s.

* The Weekend: Mostly cloudy with a few storms possible during the day on Saturday with cooler temperatures. Highs only in the lower 70s for Saturday. We will warm up around 80 on Sunday under a partly cloudy sky.

* Next Week: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions expected each day next week with a gradual warming trend as highs stay well into the 80s and overnight lows in the 50s. Model data this morning suggesting we remain dry for next week.

* Drought Information: West Central Texas remains above normal on rainfall this year so no drought issues here locally at the present time.
