Pleasant Start To The Week:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteoroloigst Chris Whited...

* We had a nice weekend and we'll stretch the pleasant weather into your Monday. Sunny this morning with some high clouds streaming into the area later today. A weak cold front moves across the area today but nothing major expected other than a breezy northerly wind and a tad bit cooler on the temperatures. Highs today in the middle to upper 70s and lows tonight into the middle 40s. There will be a few clouds around tonight.

* The Week Ahead: We'll stay mostly sunny to partly cloudy each day this week. Cooler on Tuesday with highs in the lower 70s and lows in the 40s. Temperatures will gradually warm up toward the middle and late week with highs climbing back into the 80s and lows returning to the 50s. The forecast looks dry until Thursday night and early on Friday morning with a system passing into the area which could squeeze out a few showers or an isolated storm. Model runs this morning keep the best chances for rain to our east.

* Drought Information: Thankfully West Central Texas remains above normal on rainfall this year so no drought issues here locally at the present time.
