Warming Trend Continues:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Another cold start this morning and also a band of high clouds working across the area. Expect a mostly sunny and much warmer day as highs climb into the middle 60s around the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley. A few clouds tonight and milder as lows drop only into the low 40s. Partly cloudy on Thursday and becoming mostly cloudy on Friday. Highs each day in the 60s and lows well into the 40s.

* The Weekend/Next Week: Mostly cloudy with a few showers possible Saturday and Saturday night. Highs in the 60s and low in the 40s. Cloudy at times with scattered showers and even a few thunderstorms across the region for Sunday and Monday. Highs remain warm in the upper 60s with lows at night around the upper 40s. Rain chances end Monday afternoon from west to east. Partly cloudy and still warm in the 60s on Tuesday.

* The Winter Outlook: The Climate Prediction Center indicates a moderate El NiƱo pattern continues to bring West Central Texas a wetter pattern here in the winter months. Increased wintry precipitation is possible depending on temperature trends. Equal chances of above or below normal temperatures remain possible for the area.
