Sunshine & Warmer Temperatures Return:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* The sunshine is back today with maybe a couple of high clouds as well as milder temperatures. Highs today will climb into the middle 50s across the area. Mostly clear tonight with lows in once again in the lower to middle 30s. Much warmer weather for Wednesday and into the end of the week with highs in the 60s and lows at night warming into the 40s. A few clouds return on Thursday with increasing clouds on Friday. There is a chance for a few showers late Friday night.

* The Weekend/Next Week: Cloudy at times with scattered showers and even a few thunderstorms across the region for Saturday and Sunday. Highs should be in the upper 60s with lows at night around the upper 40s and even a few low 50s. Rain chances continue on Monday but will gradually end Monday afternoon from west to east with highs still in the middle 60s.

* The Winter Outlook: The Climate Prediction Center indicates a moderate El NiƱo pattern continues to bring West Central Texas a wetter pattern here in the winter months. Increased wintry precipitation is possible depending on temperature trends. Equal chances of above or below normal temperatures remain possible for the area.
