A Nice Spring Day Ahead:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Cold start this morning across the region with temperatures ranging between the upper 20s to upper 30s under a clear sky. A very pleasant spring day ahead across the area with abundant sunshine and high warming back into the lower 70s. A few clouds tonight and not so cold with lows warmer into the middle 40s.

The Week Ahead: Expect a partly cloudy day on Tuesday, windy and very warm with highs approaching 80° areawide. Mostly cloudy on Wednesday and Thursday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the area for Wednesday afternoon, Wednesday night and ending Thursday morning. A few storms will be strong and could briefly be severe. Otherwise an organized severe weather event is not expect but of course we'll keep an eye on things. A cold front arrives on Wednesday with the system and it will cool us back down but not as drastic as the cold snap we experienced between this past Friday and Saturday. Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will drop back into the lower 60s. Sunshine and warmer temperatures are back by late week with highs returning to the 70s. Overnight lows the next seven days will remain into the 40s.
