A Very Warm Spring Day Ahead:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Not as cold this morning as it has been the last few mornings across the region. Partly cloudy today, breezy and very warm with highs approaching 80° areawide. Clouds will be on the increase tonight with another night of mild temperatures as we pretty much stay around 50° areawide.

* Mostly cloudy on Wednesday and Thursday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the area for Wednesday afternoon, Wednesday night and ending Thursday morning. A few storms will be strong and could briefly be severe. Otherwise an organized severe weather event is not expect but of course we'll keep an eye on things. Temperatures will be cooler tomorrow thanks to the clouds cover in the area with highs in the middle 60s. A cold front arrives on Wednesday with the system and it will cool us back down but not as drastic as the cold snap we experienced between this past Friday and Saturday. Highs remain in the middle 60s on Thursday. Lows the in the upper 30s/lows 40s.

* Sunshine and warmer temperatures are back by late week with highs returning to the 70s. Overnight lows the next seven days will remain into the 40s. Another system will track across the area on Saturday with a slight chance for rain, mainly across the northern counties. Highs drop back into the 60s on Sunday and back into the 70s on Monday.
