Welcome To Autumn:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Welcome to Autumn everyone! Cloudy intervals are once again expected today and tonight across the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley with a moisture rich air mass sitting over the region. Isolated showers and a few thunderstorms are possible today and tonight across the area. Temperatures remain mild into the middle 80s during the day with overnight lows hovering around 70. Expect about the same when it comes to the forecast on Friday. Friday night a cold front will move into the Big Country increasing rain chances for the area. A few of the Friday night football games will be wet so be advised and carry an umbrella.

* Weekend: Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Saturday with highs in the middle 80s and overnight lows around 70. Clouds will be on the decrease with rain chances ending by Sunday morning. Slightly cooler on Sunday with highs only in the lower 80s with overnight lows in the middle 60s.

* Next Week: Models showing a mostly sunny sky for the first half of next week with nice temperatures in place. Temperatures will actually be a tad below normal for late September with low 80s during the day and upper 50s at night.
