Clouds Around Today, Isolated Rain Chances:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Not as cool this morning as compared to Monday morning. We've got more moisture in the air so overnight lows are holding in the upper 60s and lower 70s. We're also seeing a bit of overcast conditions developing this morning. Expect a mixture of clouds and sunshine on this Tuesday with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs today will climb into the middle 80s with overnight lows tonight in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Our sky will remain mostly cloudy tonight.
* Middle & Late Week: South and southeasterly winds continue to keep ample low level moisture in place so with daytime heating expect a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and early evening across West Central Texas. Otherwise expect a partly to mostly cloudy sky with highs in the middle to upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
* Weekend: A cold front will drop into West Central Texas by Saturday which could help increase rain chances under a mostly cloudy sky. There is still a slight chance of an isolated storm on Sunday under a partly cloudy sky. Highs a tad cooler as temperatures fall back into the middle 80s with lows in the middle to upper 80s.
* Autumnal Equinox: Fall will officially arrive for West Central Texas on Wednesday night. The Autumnal Equinox will occur at 10:09 P.M. in the Central Time Zone.
