The Wind Machine Works Overtime

FROM KRBC CHIEF METEOROLOGIST RANDY TURNER ..

I FEEL YOUR PAIN AND HAVE HAD ALL THE WIND I WANT. HOWEVER, THE PERSISTENT GUSTY WIND WON'T BE GOING AWAY ANYTIME SOON.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN THE ROCKIES IS CAUSING OUR WIND TO GUST BUT THE SAME SYSTEM WILL ALSO SEND A COLD FRONT THROUGH THE AREA THURSDAY AFTERNOON WITH, YOU GUESSED IT, EVEN MORE GUSTY WIND, ONLY FROM A NORTHERLY DIRECTION.

CAN THE FRONT CAUSE ANY STORMS? POSSIBLY, BUT A SLIGHT CHANCE IN THE EASTERN AND SOUTHEASTERN COUNTIES OF THE KRBC VIEWING AREA - TOWNS LIKE THROCKMORTON, BRECKENRIDGE, CISCO, EASTLAND, COLEMAN, BROWNWOOD AND COMANCHE MAY SEE AN ISOLATED STORM LATE DAY THURSDAY OR THURSDAY NIGHT.

AFTER THAT, WARM, SUNNY AND DRY WEATHER FOR THE WEEKEND!
