Fire Danger For Western Big Country, Front Tomorrow, Severe Weather Mid-Week:

* From the KRBC Weather Center...

- Red Flag Warning for Scurry and Mitchell Counties This Afternoon.
- Fire Weather Watch for Nolan, Fisher, & Haskell Counties Today

* Good morning... Quiet morning across West Texas today as a front has stalled just across our southern counties. This front will retreat northward today as a warm front helping warm highs today into the middle 80s. The dryline will drift into our western counties and will elevate the fire danger this afternoon.

* Tomorrow a cold front will move across the area and will bring a slight chance for storms across the eastern areas where there will be the best moisture content. Highs tomorrow will drop back into the middle and upper 70s.

* Severe Weather Mid-Week: A strong system will swing through West Texas on Wednesday helping develop showers and thunderstorms across the area. The Storm Prediciton Center has the entire Big Country, the Northern Concho Valley, and the Heartland outlined for the Slight Risk of severe weather on Wednesday. The long range outlook from the SPC has suggestion for some severe weather Thursday... mainly early in the morning as the system moves out of our area. We will watch this system take shape and sharpen our forecast accordingly.

* Quickcast:
-Today: Partly Cloudy, Warm, Windy High: 85-87 Winds: S 15-25 mph
-Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Mild, Windy Low: 58-61 Winds: S 15-25 mph
-Tuesday: Partly Cloudy, WarmHigh: 77-79Winds: S 15/NW 15

* Have a Good Monday...
