Dry & Slightly Cooler Friday:

Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

Quiet weather this morning across West Texas as high pressure has built in behind the front that passed through last night. As I write this, temperatures at 5:00 AM are ranging from 37 in Synder to 46 in Brownwood. Dry and cool airmass in place so highs today will be cooler and another cool night in store.

A warming trend will back in store over the weekend with highs climbing into the upper 80s and lower 90s into early next week. The dryline will make its way back and forth across the area over the weekend so an isolated storm could pop... but for now I will keep things dry. The next changes of rain (about 20%) come at the middle of the week.

Today: Sunny & Slightly Cooler
High: 75
Wind: NW 5-15

Tonight: Clear & Chilly
Low: 48
Wind: SW 10-15

Saturday: Sunny & Warmer
High: 83
Wind: SW 15-25

Have a great weekend...
