WILDFIRE WEATHER ALERT FRIDAY

FROM KRBC CHIEF METEOROLOGIST RANDY TURNER ...

WARM AND WINDY - THOSE ARE THE MAIN WEATHER WORDS FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. TEMPERATURES IN THE 80'S CAN BE EXPECTED THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. FRIDAY IS A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER DAY ALL ACROSS THE KRBC VIEWING AREA. THE WIND WILL BE VERY GUSTY, TEMPERATURES VERY WARM AND HUMIDITY VERY LOW LEADING TO A GREATER LIKLIHOOD OF WILDFIRES. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR OUR NEXT CHANCE FOR RAIN WHICH COMES SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY. WE'LL PROBABLY SEE SOME SEVERE WEATHER SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY SO KEEP THAT IN MIND AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION IF CONDITIONS COME TOGETHER AS WE THINK THEY WILL.
TONIGHT: PARTLY CLOUDY AND 51.
THURSDAY: PARTLY CLOUDY AND WINDY, HIGH 83.
FRIDAY: CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER DANGER - VERY WINDY, VERY WARM - 88
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: A LITTLE COOLER, HIGHS NEAR 70.
SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY: OUR NEXT CHANCE FOR RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS.
