Cold / Rain /Snow on Thursday

FROM KRBC CHIEF METEOROLOGIST RANDY TURNER ..

PLAN ON NASTY WEATHER ON THURSDAY - COLD WITH RAIN IN THE MORNING, THEN EVEN COLDER WITH RAIN CHANGING TO SNOW IN THE AFTERNOON.
THE ENTIRE KRBC VIEWING AREA SHOULD RECEIVE RAIN AND SNOW.
RAIN AMOUNTS COULD TOTAL UPWARDS TO A HALF INCH. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD REMAIN LIGHT, MAINLY ON GRASSY AREAS, DUE TO THE WARM GROUND CONDITIONS, SIMILAR TO WHAT WE HAD ON MONDAY BUT A TRACE TO ONE INCH IS POSSIBLE.

EXPECT HIGHS THURSDAY TO STAY IN THE 30'S. IN FACT, THE MORNING SHOULD BE WARMER THAN THE AFTERNOON AS THE COLD AIR SINKS IN FROM MID-DAY THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT. SNOW WILL STAY IN THE FORECAST THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT.

BY FRIDAY, THE SYSTEM MOVES EAST BUT WE REMAIN COOL, HIGHS AROUND 50.

THE WEEKEND LOOKS SUNNY AND WARM WITH HIGHS AROUND 70.

ANOTHER SLIGHT CHANCE FOR RAIN HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE FORECAST ON MONDAY.
