Cold and Wet on Easter

FROM KRBC CHIEF METEOROLOGIST RANDY TURNER ..

AS IT SHAPES UP RIGHT NOW, WE SHOULD PLAN ON A CHILLY AND WET EASTER SUNDAY, THANKS TO A COLD FRONT WHICH ARRIVES ON SATURDAY NIGHT. SHOWERS AND A FEW STORMS SHOULD FORM ACROSS OUR NORTHERN BIG COUNTRY COUNTIES ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND SPREAD SOUTHWARD WITH THE FRONT. TEMPERATURES ON EASTER SUNDAY WILL STRUGGLE TO GET TO 50. IT ISN'T OUT OF THE QUESTION THAT NORTHERN COUNTIES MAY SEE SOME FROZEN PRECIPITATION MIX IN WITH THE RAIN BUT TOO EARLY TO SAY WITH ANY CONFIDENCE AT THIS TIME.

WEATHER LEADING UP TO EASTER WILL BE PLEASANT, A LITTLE ABOVE 70 ON FRIDAY, CLOSE TO 70 SATURDAY BUT ONLY ABOUT 50 ON SUNDAY. THE WARM AND DRY WEATHER RESUMES ON MONDAY AS HIGHS REBOUND INTO THE 60'S FOLLOWED BY WARM 70'S ON TUESDAY.
