Monday Evening Update

From Meteorologist Nathan Motz......

A couple of t-storms did manage to develop today mostly to the south of I-20 around Brownwood and east into Comanche county. Also a few storms developed in the vicinity of Colorado City. Chances of rain for the rest of tonight do not look good but there will be a slight chance of rain for tomorrow afternoon as a warm and humid air mass remains in place across west central Texas.

Tomorrow night a cool front will approach the northern Big Country and will try to move through area early Wednesday morning. A 30% chance of t-storms will accompany the frontal passage however the front will not bring much cooler temperatures to the area.

Late in the week it appears that a much stronger cold front will pass through the Big Country bringing more seasonal temperatures by early next week. We will continue to update the forecast throughout the week but right now it appears that afternoon high temperatures may only reach the upper 70's next Sunday and into Monday.

Have a great Tuesday!!!
