Summer Heat Returns:

Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Ridge to our west over New Mexico will build this week across Texas bringing an end to the recent rainy weather trend we've experienced. Each day this week to be mostly sunny with highs ranging between 97 and 101° with overnight lows in the middle 70s. The ridge will slowly drift across the state this week. Above normal temperatures but it doesn't look too opressively hot and records look to be safe.

* By the weekend the ridge will begin to set up across the Mississippi Valley and we should see temperatures drop back into the middle 90s for the Big Country. Still looks to be dry for the weekend.
