The heat will be consistent this week and while not likely triple digit, it will be close and even after cooling a few degrees toward the end of the week, it will only cool closer to normal, middle 90's.
I put rain in the forecast for late Tuesday, Tuesday night, Wednesday and Wednesday night.
A cold front in the Texas Panhandle will drop to the Red River Tuesday and with upper level winds from the north, it would tend to push any storm that develops to the south.
The chance for rain only 20 percent at this time.
