Slight Chance for T-Storms Tuesday

From KRBC Chief Meteorologist Randy Turner ...

Another weak cold front will ease ever so slowly into the Big Country Tuesday evening or Tuesday night and that should cause some showers and thunderstorms.

The front will linger Wednesday meaning another chance for mainly afternoon storms.

Plus, with our high pressure ridge pushing back to the west, we are opened to a northerly flow. In other words, the upper level wind blowing clockwise around the high, causes our winds to be from the northwest in the upper levels. Any storms which develop in the Texas Panhandle or eastern New Mexico will tend to move our way.

Temperatures will be hot again Tuesday with upper 90's but we should see a few degrees relief, into the low to mid 90's on Wednesday and the mid 90's Thursday thanks to more cloud cover and, hopefully, rain.
