Rain chances in the forecast

Good Morning from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly….

After a beautiful weekend we will begin to see some changes over the next few days. Today we will have a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures just making it into the 80’s for highs. Once again it will be breezy with winds sustained between 15-25 mph and gusts up to 35 mph. There is a lake wind advisory again for much of the Big Country. Things will begin to cool off tonight reaching around 50 for lows with some lighter winds. Halloween will bring in our next cold front. It will push through sometime in the morning tomorrow bringing highs only into the mid 60’s tomorrow. The kid’s will need a jacket for trick or treating. Overnight lows tomorrow will be chilly, making it into the lower 40’s. Wednesday will be similar to tomorrow temperature wise with highs in the mid 60’s and lows in the upper 40’s with partly cloudy skies.

Thursday brings us our next big change with moisture in the area and a few disturbances rolling through we are brining up the rain chances. This system doesn’t look like it will produce much in the amount of rain but lots of clouds and drizzle. With the system, temperatures for highs will only make it to just around 60 Thursday and Friday with lows in the upper 40’s.

Saturday should clear things up again with a bit warmer temperatures but Sunday is looking for another chance of rain as another shortwave rolls through.

Have a great week everyone!
