Big Changes This Week, Lots of Rain Chances

Good Monday Morning from your Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly ….

Clouds have moved in and we should see more Cloud cover today especially in the western counties. Showers and Thunderstorms should be isolated throughout the morning with most the activity beginning through afternoon and continuing through early morning hours, some of the storms could be severe. This activity is all associated with a cold front that is moving through Texas and into the Big Country. Today we should see high temperatures in the upper 70’s in the western part of our viewing area and lower 80’s throughout the rest of the Big Country. Overnight lows should get down to upper 50’s and lower 60’s. Over night we could see some gusty winds but mainly S/SW 10-15 mph.

Tomorrow and Wednesday we should continue with the cloud cover and a slight chance of rain but temperatures will have cooled off just a bit with highs through out the Big Country only making it into the mid to upper 70’s. Lows will cool down to the lower 50’s.

Fall comes into full swing Wednesday night into Thursday when we will see our next Cold front roll through bringing with it some cool artic air. This will push Highs in the 60’s Thursday and Friday with lows in the 40’s. A big difference from what we have had the last few weeks! After it pushes through we may see our next Low impacting us by the weekend brining with it the next best chance of rain Saturday and Sunday with temperatures in the 70’s and lows in the 50’s.

Have a Wonderful Week everyone!
