Happy Halloween !

Happy Halloween from Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly!

A cold front will be passing through starting our Halloween off to a cool start. High’s today will only reach the lower 60’s. The good thing is there will be plenty of sunshine throughout the day and it will be dry for the trick or treaters. We will still have some winds throughout the day gusting around 10-20 mph but they will begin to cool down by evening just in time for all the kids to get out and get some candy. Temperatures by the time they will be going out trick or treating should be in the upper 50’s so make sure you grab a jacket. Overnight we will be chilly reaching the upper 30’s for most of the Big Country. Some Counties to the South will stay a little warmer only in the lower 40’s because they won’t get as much cold air from the front passing later in the day.

Tomorrow begins our first change in weather- we will be getting some moisture in here causing for partly cloudy skies and again another push of cooler air reaching lower 60’s for highs with lows making it back into the lower 40’s. Our rain chances will begin Wednesday night into Thursday although this system does not look like it will produce much in quantity of rain it could make for a drizzly day. Temperatures going to stay mild with highs just around 60 and lows in the upper 40’s Thursday into Friday.

This weekend we will again put the rain chances on as moisture will be sticking around our area. Temperatures should begin to warm back up a bit with highs in the mid to upper 60’s and lows in the lower 50’s.

Have a great Halloween and be safe!
