Summer like weekend!

Good Friday Morning! From Your Morning Meteorologist Kristen Connolly…..

Temperatures overnight got a bit chilly reaching into the low 50’s in the early morning hour. The cold front that moved through yesterday morning kept High temperatures only into the 70’s yesterday but Sunny skies still persisted because of the dry air we still have in the Big Country.

Today those temperatures will begin a warming trend reaching into the mid to upper 80’s tonight with lows in the mid 60’s. It will be a beautiful night for Friday night football. Tomorrow and Sunday we will reach into the low 90’s for highs making it feel more like Summer than Fall. It will be an overall great weekend to get out and enjoy that pool once last time.

I hope you enjoy sunny weather because it looks like it is going to continue for the next seven days. A ridge, which means a High pressure system, will sit pretty over the Western United States into mid next week. This meaning we should see Sunny skies, temperatures in the upper 80’s for highs and lows into the mid 60’s. Winds could continue to blow between 10-15 mph from the South. Sadly enough, it doesn’t look like there is any chance of rain.

Have a great weekend everyone!
