Monday morning weather!

Good Morning! I am Kristen Connolly your new Morning Meteorologist!

We had a satisfactory weekend with cooler temps Saturday and lots of cloud cover. Sunday started out with sunny skies but a few showers and thunderstorms moved through the region into the afternoon and overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for today! We will have a weak cold front moving through the area which will cause some showers with a few thunderstorms around the region. We will keep the rain chances at 40 percent with temperatures hitting the mid 80’s. Other than that we should see mostly cloudy skies across the Big Country. Over night we should see clouds diminishing with a few lingering rain showers keeping the chance around 20 percent. Over night temps should drop into the lower 60’s

Tomorrow we will have a shower or two possible, with the rain chances continuing to diminish and partly sunny skies taking over. The highs should stick once again into the mid 80’s with overnight lows in the lower 60’s.

Wednesday and Thursday are looking to be the best days this week with mostly sunny skies and temperatures beginning to warm up a few degrees continuing into the weekend. So get out to the fair, or play a game of golf and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Through the weekend: will bring the best chance of rain back into the forecast Thursday night and into the weekend as another disturbance moves through. Temperatures should rise a few degrees with highs in the upper 80’s and lows in the upper 60’s.

Hope you have a wonderful week!
