Weather Alert: Winter Weather Tonight & Wednesday

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

*** Winter Storm Warning for Eastland, Stephens and Comanche County for late tonight and on Wednesday. ***

*** Winter Weather Advisory for Taylor, Callahan, Jones, Haskell, Shackelford, Throckmorton, Stonewall, King, Kent and Mills County for late tonight and on Wednesday. ***

* Increasing clouds today, windy and warmer with highs in the upper 50s and the lower 60s. Cloudy tonight with periods of rain, then sleet, changing to all snow overnight. Accumulation of 1-3 inches is expected across the area. Lows tonight around 15. Travel is expected to become slick and hazardous across the area as roadways become snow covered.

* Late Week: Mostly sunny and cold on Thursday with lows around 10 in the morning and warming up into the middle 30s later in the day. Cooling down into the upper 10s and lower 20s under a mostly clear sky Thursday night and Friday morning. Warmer on Friday with highs warming into the lower 50s under a sunny sky.

* Weekend: Abundant sunshine and warmer with afternoon highs in the lower 60s on Saturday and middle to upper 60s on Sunday. Overnight lows into the lower and middle 30s.
