Warm & Breezy Weather Continues:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Another breezy & warm day ahead for the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley on this Thursday with highs in the lower 80s. Expect a partly cloudy sky during the day today and also tonight. Lows overnight will drop to around 50. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy on Friday and a little cooler with highs in mid 70s. Lows on Friday night will drop into the lower to mid 50s.

* Weekend: Partly cloudy and a little cooler on Saturday with highs around 70. Mostly cloudy with a very small slight chance of showers (only around 10-percent) for Saturday night with lows in the mid 50s. Partly cloudy on Sunday with a slight chance for showers early (still only around 10-percent) and warm with highs climbing back into the upper 70s. Partly cloudy and mild with lows into the upper 40s.

* Next Week: Models show a decent cold front arriving on Monday with temperatures cooling back into the middle 60s for both Monday and Tuesday. Lows into the mid 30s Monday night and mid 40s for Tuesday night. Warming back up to around 70 by Wednesday. Expect a partly cloudy sky each day and at night.

* Wildfire Threat: With the warm, dry and breeze weather pattern currently in place over West Central Texas the wildfire threat will remain elevated for Thursday. Most counties in the viewing area have established burn bans. You can see a map of counties under burn bans by clicking here.
