Warm & Breezy Weather Continues:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Another warm February day ahead for the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley on this Wednesday with highs temperatures around 80. We'll have a south breeze during the day between 10-20 miles per hour under a mostly sunny sky. Mostly clear, breezy and mild tonight with lows into the middle and upper 50s.

* Late Week: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy on Thursday with highs into the lower 80s and lows Thursday night into the lower 50s. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy on Friday and cooler with highs into the lower to middle 70s. Lows on Friday night will drop into the lower 50s.

* Weekend: Partly cloudy and a little cooler on Saturday with highs around 70. Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers Saturday night with lows in the lower 50s. Partly cloudy on Sunday with a slight chance for showers with highs in the lower to middle 70s. Partly cloudy and mild with lows into the upper 40s and lower 50s Sunday night.

* Wildfire Threat: With the warm, dry and breeze weather pattern currently in place over West Central Texas the wildfire threat will remain elevated into the end of the week. Taylor County Commissioners on Tuesday placed the county back under an burn ban. Most counties in the viewing area have established burn bans.
