A Warm Weekend Ahead:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Quiet weather on this Friday across the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley. Partly cloudy, breezy and warm today with highs in the middle to upper 70s. Increasing clouds tonight with patchy fog and drizzle developing late with lows into the middle 50s.

* Weekend: Partly cloudy and warm on Saturday with highs middle to upper 70s. Mostly cloudy with a very small slight chance of showers (only around 10-percent) for Saturday night with lows in the mid 50s. Mostly cloudy on Sunday with a slight chance for showers (20-percent) and warm with highs into the middle 70s. Lows around 50 for Sunday night.

* Next Week: Models show a decent cold front arriving on Monday with temperatures cooling back into the upper 60s for both Monday and middle 60s on Tuesday. Lows into the mid 30s Monday night and mid 40s for Tuesday night. Warming back into the lower 70s by Wednesday and middle 70s for Thursday. Partly cloudy each day with the exception of Wednesday when we'll see more clouds cover around the area.

* Wildfire Threat: With the warm, dry and breeze weather pattern currently in place over West Central Texas the wildfire threat will remain elevated for Thursday. Most counties in the viewing area have established burn bans. You can see a map of counties under burn bans by clicking here.
