Sunny & Windy Day Ahead, A Freeze Tonight:

Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

*** Lake Wind Advisory in effect for area lakes across the Big Country from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM this evening. Expect a northwest wind between 15-25 mph, with higher gusts possible at times.***

* A cold front will move across the Big Country this morning and will help bring windy conditions into the area this afternoon. Other than the windy conditions the weather today will be nice. Expect plenty of sunshine with highs in the lower to middle 60s. The wind will die down tonight setting us up for a very cold night with lows hovering anywhere from the upper 20s to the lower 30s under a clear sky.

* Late Week: A little cooler on Thursday after a cold start. Highs will climb to around 60 in the area under a sunny sky. Another cool night ahead with lows into the middle 30s. On Friday the temperatures warm back into the upper 60s with lows back into the 40s by Friday night. No rain chances are expected.

* Weekend: Expect a partly cloudy sky over the weekend. Temperatures will warm up into the 70s across the region with overnight lows back into the 50s. The forecast will remain dry across West Central Texas over the weekend.
