A Bit Cooler Today:

Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* A cold start this morning with temperatures ranging from the upper 20s to the upper 30s. A few of our counties (Knox, Scurry & Mitchell) remain under a Freeze Warning until the mid-morning hours. Abundant sunshine today but it will remain cool with high temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to the lower 60s. Clear and cold tonight with lows averaging in the middle 30s. Warming up on Friday with temperatures climbing back into the upper 60s and the lower 70s under a sunny sky. A little warmer Friday night with lows in the upper 30s and the lower 40s.

* The Weekend: Mostly sunny on Saturday and becoming partly cloudy on Sunday with highs in the middle 70s and lows back into the lower to middle 50s. No rain chances are in the picture for the upcoming weekend.

* Next Week: Partly cloudy each day across West Central Texas with highs in the low 70s on Monday. Temperatures in the upper 60s on Tuesday. Lows each night into the lower 50s. A cold front will arrive during the middle of next week and bring in some cooler weather just in time for Thanksgiving. Highs on Wednesday in the upper 40s and lower 50s with lows in the 30s. Thanksgiving will be partly cloudy with highs in the 50s. Models show no rain chances across the area for next week.
