Pleasant Weather Ahead This Week:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* What a morning across West Central Texas! Temperatures at the time I am writing this weather update on the blog are ranging from the middle 40s to the lower 50s across all of the area. We'll see a few clouds around at times today but they should not be as thick as what we saw most of the day on Sunday. Temperatures will be a bit warmer this afternoon as we warm into the middle 70s across the area. Expect another cool and mostly clear night with lows ranging from the middle 40s in the cooler spots with most everyone else ranging from the upper 40s and lower 50s elsewhere.

* The Week Ahead: High pressure to our north and east will remain in control of our weather across West Central Texas. Most of the active weather remains well to our west but we will see some highs clouds at times drift in from the west. Highs this week will range into the lower to middle 80s with overnight lows in the lower to middel 50s. Expect a mostly sunny sky each day.

* Rain Chances: None are expected this week but the models are hinting at slight chances for the very late weekend and into early next week. At this point my confidence in this model data is low so I will not include any rain chances for the upcoming weekend. I will however call for partly cloudy conditions.
