Mild Today, Cooler Tomorrow:


Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Another nice day ahead for the Big Country, the Northern Heartland and the Northern Concho Valley on this Wednesday. Abundant sunshine and mild with highs today into the middle 70s. Another cold front will arrive today bringing in cooler air for tonight and into Thursday. Clear and cool tonight with lows in the lower to middle 40s. On Thursday expect a sunny sky with highs in the upper 60s and the lower 70s. It's going to be very chilly Thursday night and Friday morning as low temperatures drop into the upper 30s. The cooler spots could dip into the middle 30s!

* The Weekend: Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 70s on Friday. We will warm back into the middle 80s on Saturday. Temperatures will dip back into the middle 70s on Sunday. Lows will range from the middle 40s to the lower 50s over the weekend.

* Next Week: Mostly sunny conditions will remain in place. Another cold front arrives next week knocking highs by Tuesday and Wednesday back into the middle and upper 60s and lows into the lower to middle 40s.

* Rain Chances: Still no rain chances expected in the extended forecast as a cool and dry air mass will remain in place across West Central Texas. We're still a little behind on rainfall for the month of October but still well over 5 inches above normal on rainfall for the year.
