A Bit Cooler Today:

Good Morning from KRBC Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Yet another quiet weather day ahead for all of us across the Big Country, the Northern Concho Valley and the Northern Heartland on this Wednesday. Expect plenty of sunshine and you'll notice it will be a bit cooler today. Highs will climb into the middle and upper 70s. It's going to be a bit chilly tonight with lows dropping into the middle 40s under a clear sky. The usual cooler spots (Brownwood, Coleman, Snyder, etc.) could even briefly dip into the low 40s tonight. Expect a bit of a north breeze today and tonight.

* Late Week & Weekend: We'll keep things mostly sunny for Thursday and into the weekend across West Central Texas. Highs on Thursday will hold in the upper 70s with a few low 80s in spots. We'll start to warm things back up over the weekend into the lower and middle 80s under a mostly sunny sky. The forecast will remain dry into the weekend.

* Next Week: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy on Monday with highs in the middle 80s. Changes come into the middle of next week across the area. The long range models bring a strong cold front into West Central Texas. Rain chances are painted across the area on Tuesday and Wednesday. Numerical model data is placing highs in the low 70s on Tuesday and upper 60s on Wednesday.
