* Mostly clear this morning but the clouds will build by midday and into the afternoon across the Big Country. Storms not as numerous today but there will still be a chance of an isolated storm or two popping up, with the best chances east of Abilene. Highs warm into the middle and upper 90s today with lows tonight into the upper 60s.
* Hot weather pattern returns into the weekend across the area. Daytime highs will climb into the upper 90s with a few spots in the low 100s across the Big Country. Overnight lows stay into the lower 70s.
