Isolated Storms & Hot This Monday:

* Mostly cloudy this morning with a few isolated showers in spots. The clouds will begin to thin out as we head into the day. Look for partly cloudy conditions with isolated storms late in the afternoon in the western counties which may drift into the rest of the area (if they hold together) this evening. Another hot day with highs near 100° and lows in the middle 70s. Expect about the same weather conditions on Tuesday for the Big Country as well.

* The Week Ahead: The ridge will hold in place the rest of the week keeping rain chances on the low and temperatures on the hot side. Expect highs each afternoon between 97-100° and lows at night into the middle 70s. Mostly sunny conditions will prevail.

* Summer Solstice: Summer will officially arrive here in West Texas when the Summer Solstice occurs Sunday, June 21 (Father's Day) at 12:45 AM Central Time. Of course, we all know summer has already been around a while!
