Scattered Afternoon & Evening Thunderstorms:




Good Morning from Meteorologist Chris Whited...

* Mostly clear this morning across the Big Country after last nights severe weather episode. Just like yesterday, as we go into the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop and eventually we will begin to see thunderstms developing across the area. Highs in the lower 90s today with lows tonight around the lower 70s.

* There will be a continuing chance of thunderstorms over most of West Central Texas through midweek, with a chance of thunderstorms over primarily the Big Country into thursday night. While organized severe weather is not expected, One or two storms could become severe, with large hail and damaging winds being the main threats.

* Summer-like forecast pattern remains in place for the week across the area. Daytime highs will remain in the middle and upper 90s across the Big Country with overnight lows into the lower 70s.
